Tour Itinerary

Day 1
– You will be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation in Cape Town, you can chill until the late afternoon or take a walk down to the V&A Waterfront to sail out of Table Bay harbour on a catamaran for a sunset cruise to witness the kaleidoscope of evening colours as the sun drops down over the horison. Sip champagne and watch the city of Cape Town light up in front of you. Overnight in Cape Town

Day 2
– Today, Sam will take you on a Township tour to the Malay Quarter, District Six, Gugulethu, Nyanga, Crossroads & Khayelitsha, where you will have the opportunity to walk around, chat to the local folk and get a more rounded perspective of the people that make up the rainbow mosaic that is South Africa.
Visit the infamous Robben Island in the afternoon by ferry from the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and then take in some vibrant Jazz in the evening to round off another amazing day.

Day 3
– Once again collected from your backpacker for a trip down the peninsula, we follow the Atlantic Coast to Hout Bay harbour , where we go onboard a boat to Seal Island for a good look at these amazing swimmers, then along the breathtaking Chapman's Peak drive where you are suddenly 300 feet up and the sea is crashing into the rocks far below, we pass Noordhoek and go on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point (the end of the peninsula). We check out the penguins at Boulders beach & we take mountain bikes along for those who wish to get out and groove in the smell of the many flowers and fresh sea air. You can cycle as much or as little as you like as the support van is always nearby. There is also an easy half hour cliff top hike from Cape Point with stunning 360 degree views No special fitness level required.
That evening you transfer to Stellenbosch, the heart of the Winelands to overnight in this 300 year old town.

Day 4
– Now slow the pace down a little and we head on a full days Wine Tour to four uniquely different winefarms in Stellenbosch, Paarl & Franschhoek , where you will get to taste red & white wines, lunch is included and local cheese is also available to taste and buy. Later enjoy a traditional braai (BBQ) and / or a pub crawl of this student town. Overnight in Stellenbosch

Day 5
– Leave Stellenbosch at midday for Hermanus to check out some Southern Right whales chilling in Walker Bay with their calves, sea kayaking is available to those that dig. Overnight in Hermanus.

Day 6
– From Hermanus we head to the Breede River for a spectacular day trip of river rafting in 2-man inflatables (crocodiles) with their own cooler box. Dinner is a traditional potjie (stew) around the open campfire. Overnight in the Breede River Valley.

Day 7
– Sadly we depart Bainskloof after breakfast and head back to Cape Town, but fortunately you can link up with the Chilled Garden Route trip because you have just experienced 7, of the best days, of your life.
