Day 2
– Mountain bike down the awesome Swartberg Pass (which rises 1220 meters above the Little Karoo), and was completed in 1887, it is still an untarred road with truly spectacular scenery. After that we visit the Cango Caves which is an magnificent display of stalacmites & stalactites. A visit to the ostrich and cheetah farm completes our amazing day. Overnight in Oudtshoorn

Day 3
– Head out just after midday for George where you board the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe, the last steam hauled scheduled passenger train operating in Southern Africa between George and Knysna. The route of the Choo-Tjoe is from George, via Victoria Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield and Goukamma to Knysna and encompasses some of the most spectacular scenery in South Africa in the heart of the Garden Route lake district. The section from Victoria Bay along the Cliffside and over the Kaaiman’s River viaduct to Wilderness is breathtaking.Overnight in Knysna

Day 4
– Knysna has great craft shops, flea-markets and café’s for you to check out before you embark on a lagoon cruise at 14h30 from Knysna Quays for a two hour trip to the spectacular Knysna Heads (a narrow opening to the sea with towering rock cliffs on either side) and then cruise up the river to swim & chill and soak in the beauty of the surroundings.
Then in the early evening you transfer to Natures Valley which is a small community wedged between one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the Tsitsikamma forest. Overnight in Natures Valley.

Day 5
– Natures Valley , spend the day on the beach or lolling in the lagoon or hike up into the forest, just take it easy in this paradise. Transfer to Stormsriver in the afternoon where you’ll overnight for the next two nights.

Day 6
– Tsitsikamma tree top canopy tour where you will gently glide along steel cables 30 meters above the the forest floor in your harness from platform to platform. Birdlife is abundant (including Knysna Loeries and the elusive Narina Trojan), and your guides will explain the ecology of the lush primeval forest. In the afternoon, the “Spirit of Tsitsikamma” eco boat cruise will take you down the Stormsriver Gorge with awesome cliff faces that tower 150 meters above the boat. Fish eagles and Knysna loeries are common sightings. Overnight at Storms River.

Day 7
– Right now you have been chilling all week but today you are going to get your heart racing by choosing one or more of the following heart stoppers :
1. Abseiling the relatively easy 35 meter route;
2. Mountain biking down the Stormsriver pass, through the forest to the lookout point where you can often see dolphins and whales;
3. The Gorge Challenge , 110 meter abseil followed by a 2 hour blackwater tubing trip followed by a radically beautiful 22 km mountain bike ride, or
4. Bloukrans Bungee jump , the worlds highest bungee jump at 216 meters .
And they lived happily ever after, wow , what a way to end to end the trip.
