Tour Itinerary Day 1 – Port Elizabeth ,(transfers can be arranged from wherever you arrive in PE) to your backpackers, a township tour departs at 4pm, this will give you an insight into local life in the “Friendly City” with dinner and drinks at a Shebeen (township bar) , overnight in PE Day 2 – The Addo Elephant Park tour leaves at about 9am for a full days game drive in the National Park and includes lunch and drinks. Overnight in Port Elizabeth. Day 3 – Leave Port Elizabeth early in the morning for Station Backpackers, at the old railway station in Port Alfred, a very chilled seaside village with heaps to do, trainspotting ,surfing , horse riding but only if you want to. Day 4 – Today we head for Hogsback, the faeries adventure playground. Hiking is the main activity, with amazing trails starting in the back garden of the backpackers,so it couldn't be easier. The trails take you through indigenous forest to wonderful waterfalls, mountain peaks and spectacular viewpoints. Overnight in Hogsback . Day 5 - Hogsback is tucked away high in the Amatola Mountains in the Eastern Cape. The area is famed for being the inspiration for JRR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings. It is easy to see how, as the indigenous forest and plentiful waterfalls are simply amazing .Your accommodation is a very relaxed backpackers boasting breathtaking views of the mountain, forest and waterfalls. Overnight in Hogsback Day 6 – Take a leisurely drive to East London and check in to your backpackers 50 meters from one of the best surf breaks in the world. Surf boards and lessons are available in the afternoon for those who are feeling rusty . Overnight in East London. Day 7 – Your trip would not be complete without a morning of sand boarding. Feel that difference always being on top of the wave.
